As the Young Birds will be flown on The Darkness System this is a short Video Clip of the state of the art Electronically Controlled Roller Blinds which are fitted to all sections in the race loft

Heading 1

To all Competitors/Entrants,

Just a quick line to let all the Competitors/Entrants know that all the pigeons settled into the Race Loft exceptionally well and are flying very well around the loft on a daily basis.

All have now finished the Darkness System and all the pigeons are looking in top class condition.

New aviaries have been fitted to the Race Loft and a brand new state of the art BENZING LIVE ELECTRONIC CLOCKING SYSTEM has been installed by Thomas Zimmermann from Benzing.

During the early part of next week 8th to 11th July, we will be allocating the Benzing Electronic Rings to each pigeon.

Once this task has been achieved a full list of all the pigeons in the Race Loft will be added to the BMNOLR and BENZING Websites for all to see.

They have all been basket trained and been taught how to drink in the baskets/crates.

Road Training will then start and all the Training Tosses will be published on the BMNOLR and BENZING LIVE Websites for all to see.

Hopefully, we will have LIVESTREAM up and running for all Training Races, The Hot Spot Race and The Final Race.

I will also be updating all Competitors/Entrants by regular emails.

Best regards and thanks again for supporting the first British Masters National One Loft Race and good luck during the race series.

Yours in sport,

Paul Smith,

Latest News

MONDAY 9th SEPTEMBER 2019.

Afternoon All Competitors/Entrants/Sponsors & Supporters,

Well the FINAL RACE day arrived on Saturday 7th September 2019 and our remaining 127 pigeons were liberated by the BICC NATIONAL at FOUGERES at 08.15 with a WNW wind blowing and a fairly tough race was anticipated.

I had travelled down to Pyecombe the day before to help Lee, Ian, Karen & Mel get things ready for the Big Day.

I arrived at the Race Loft about 9am on Saturday which was also a special day for me because it was my birthday and as pigeon fanciers, friends and other interest visitors started to arrive from all over the country and before we knew it there was around 100 people all enjoying themselves and waiting for the arrival of the pigeons. FREE drink and food was supplied by Lee, Karen & Ian Sullivan and they had also laid on music to help pass to long wait. Thanks guys and gals, a superb gesture.

There was a great atmosphere and most people thought it would take the pigeons about five and a half hours to cover the 182 miles. The £10 Guess The Winning Time was well received and the times ranged from four and a half hours to six hours and a £250 cash prize awaited the person who was nearest the clocking time of the winning pigeon. The winning clocking time was 13.46.34.68 and the winner was Wendy Burton who put down 13.45.00.00. WELL DONE WENDY.

As we waited people were still arriving and Chris Sutton was busy taking photographs for our International Press Release.

Then just as the Fish & Chip Van turned up the first four pigeons arrived at about 13.45, they did not trap very quickly but finally two trapped and were electronically recorded on the state of the art Benzing Clocking System.

Good Evening All Competitors/Entrants,

Well a total of 206 BMNOLR pigeons were basketed yesterday by the BICC for the BMNOLR HOT SPOT 1 and the BICC YOUNG BIRD GUERNSEY RACE.

Unfortunately 2 pigeons had gone missing since our last Training Toss and 2 pigeons could not go because the breeder had not supplied us with Transfer Forms/Ring Cards.

However the good news is that everybody that entered pigeons at the start into this new venture has at least one pigeon competing for the honours.

According to what I have found out a total of 3,640 pigeons were basketed by the BICC, this total was made up by 2,439 Young Birds and 1,201 Old Birds. These are both separate races.

The Basket List is now on the BENZING WEBSITE www.oneloftrace.live and all pigeons are entered under the name of SULLIVAN BROTHERS & DAWES as per the Rules/Regulations of entry.

So when the result is shown you will have to look for your RING NUMBERS or for the NAMES OF YOUR PIGEONS.

A full result will be issued after the pigeons have been officially clocked. ONLY ACTIVATED PIGEONS CAN WIN ANY CASH PRIZES, TROPHIES or SPECIAL AWARDS.

The weather is not looking that good for Saturday but the wind might blow the rain through overnight. As usual we will now just have to wait and see what happens.

I close by now by saying a BIG THANK YOU for your support and GOOD LUCK for HOT SPOT 1 and the BICC YOUNG BIRD GUERNSEY RACE.

Paul Smith. Race Co-ordinator & Administration, British Masters National One Loft Race.

Afternoon All Competitors/Entrants,

It is WEDNESDAY 14th AUGUST 2019 and unfortunately because of lots of heavy rain, thunder and lightning over the past few days training has been impossible. However, we have managed to let the pigeons out for their daily fly around the Race Loft and they have been flying very well and are in superb conditions and ready for the task in front of them.

They will be basketed for BMNOLR HOT SPOT 1 and the BICC GUERNSEY YOUNG BIRD RACE tomorrow THURSDAY 15th AUGUST 2019.

The PRIZE MONEY for BMNOLR  HOT SPOT 1 will be as follows:- 1st £1,500, 2nd £1,000, 3rd £800, 4th £700, 5th £600 and 6th £400.

Only ACTIVATED PIGEONS (FULLY PAID FOR) can win any of the BMNOLR HOT SPOT 1 PRIZE MONEY or and BICC CASH PRIZES, TROPHIES or SPECIAL AWARDS.

The ACTIVATION FEE is £500 for each RESERVE PIGEON. If these pigeons are then not basketed for the FINAL RACE, then these pigeons are entitled to a full refund.

So really what have you got to lose?

PLEASE DO NOT DELAY, ACTIVATE YOUR RESERVE PIGEONS IMMEDIATELY.

The BICC GUERNSEY YOUNG BIRD RACE is due to take place on SATURDAY 17th AUGUST 2019 a distance of 143 miles 1717 yards.

You will be able to follow the race by logging onto the BENZING WEBSITE www.oneloftrace.live

Morning Competitors/Entrants,

Morning Competitors/Entrants,

Congratulations to Vermeerbergen-Wilms Mol from Belgium for taking 1st today with his pigeon named Belgian Flyer.

Weather looks OK for tomorrow, so we will be going again. Keep your eyes open on the Benzing Live Website.

Good luck to all.

Paul Smith. Race Co-ordinator & Administration, British Masters National One Loft Race.

Hi Competitors/Entrants,

We have now successfully had the pigeons up to 35 miles and once we have the Internet Signal at the Race Loft up and running we will start to issue Training Results. After we had the Benzing Electronic Clocking System installed we found that the Internet Signal was not sufficient, so a Booster was added. Low and behold it then got struck by lightning and it blew the system, so now we have to wait for the technicians to install a new Internet system. As soon as this is up and running we will notify all the Competitors/Entrants. We can only apologize for any inconvenience caused and hope to get everything up and running as soon as possible.

Paul Smith. Race Co-ordinator & Administration, British Masters National One Loft Race.  Dated 5th August 2019.

Morning All,

All the ETS Rings have now been allocated to the pigeons in the Race Loft and short Training Tosses from 2, 5 & 8 miles have now taken place, on all of these they were liberated a couple of baskets at a time and on two of these occasions the pigeons were attacked by hawks which of course split them up. A few returned to the Race Lofts with feathers missing but the majority managed to work back and are continuing to be trained. We will move up the training distance to 20 to 25 miles in the next few days and I will notify all Competitors/Entrants by email when we are going to put the 1st Official Training Toss on line.

Good luck to all and we wish you a successful race series.

Paul Smith. Race Co-ordinator & Administration, British Masters National One Loft Race.
